“Many parents/carers want to get involved in their child’s learning but perhaps don’t know the best way to do this. The “Back to the Future (School) Day!”, involves parents/carers taking part in lessons as a “parent class” to experience, first-hand, what it is like to be a S1 pupil at Speyside High School.
The “Back to the Future (School) Day!”, provides parents/carers with the opportunity to gain a valuable insight into their child’s experience at Speyside High School and an opportunity to ask questions about Curriculum for Excellence so that they are better equipped to support their child’s learning. Feedback provided by the many parents/carers who have participated in previous years, has been overwhelmingly positive.”
