Aberdeen City Music School is delighted to hold its annual Open Morning this Sunday 27 September at 10 am. https://sites.google.com/ab-ed.org/acms-open-morning/home
It is a great opportunity for young musicians and their families to come along to Dyce Academy, to meet our pupils and staff and to learn more of the musical opportunities that are available through ACMS.
These include:
- Free musical tuition with world class tutors
- 2 hours of individual lessons each week on first instrument
- 30 minutes lesson on second study instrument
- 30 minutes of Theory lessons
- Opportunities to be part of ensembles including Chamber, Traditional, Jazz, Improvisation and Tutti Choir
- Many and varied performance opportunities both in the community and around Scotland
- Aural lessons
- Music History class
Our musicians range from S1-6, each receiving a unique opportunity to build on their musical skills.
Finally, we also offer Bursary lessons for P6/7 youngsters who are enthusiastic about the instrument they play.
